A 1969 Chevy Camaro stolen just two days after Christmas was found at an alleged chop shop in North Carolina. Call it a post-holiday miracle that the classic muscle car wasn’t completely dismantled, as police busted the operation before it could finish the job.
Recovering a classic largely intact from a chop shop is a rare bit of good fortune. The bust both saved a treasured vehicle and struck at the network profiting from stolen cars, a welcome win on both counts.
