Even for Arkansas troopers, a Mopar muscle car at full throttle can be tough to catch, especially a Scat Pack or Hellcat. Their power makes catching up difficult once a trooper spots them already speeding, which is the Hellcat’s greatest advantage in a pursuit.
Raw acceleration can buy a fleeing driver precious distance early on. Still, even the fastest muscle car rarely guarantees escape, as the troopers’ coordination and persistence usually close the gap before long.
