Brutal PIT maneuvers can be fascinating to watch when you’re not in either vehicle and don’t have to face the fallout. Messy PITs can wreck a suspect’s car, injure those inside, endanger others on the road, and damage the cruiser.
This one on a fleeing Mustang, however, was about as clean as they come. The trooper’s precise execution ended the chase without unnecessary chaos.
