A fresh report claims the upcoming sixth-generation Toyota Supra now in development will spawn a Lexus counterpart. The new coupe would reportedly replace both the discontinued Lexus RC and the LC, consolidating the brand’s sporty two-doors onto a single platform.
The RC has already been retired, and the LC is rumored to be next in line. If accurate, the plan would give Lexus a modern coupe sharing its bones with the Supra, blending Toyota’s sports car engineering with Lexus refinement.
