Five minutes is all it took for an Arkansas trooper to chase down a suspect fleeing in her Lexus and PIT the sedan. Why people run from Arkansas State Police ever is still a mystery to us when there are so many videos of what happens when they do.

At first the woman driving the Lexus pulls over for the trooper, who explains she’s being stopped for speed. A normal person will grumble while the cop writes a citation, then take driver’s ed or try fighting the ticket in court.

But our suspect, after the trooper gets all of her info, decides to take off from the incomplete traffic stop. It’s not the greatest plan.

However, she takes the trooper by surprise and leads with a pretty big gap on the interstate. While the trooper trails behind, training helps whittle away at the lead the Lexus has.

When the suspect gets off the interstate and takes to surface streets, the gap slowly becomes smaller and smaller. That’s in part because there are more turns to negotiate and ASP trains its troopers to drive better than most.

Realizing she’s about to get a PIT or some other consequence, our suspect gets a little loose behind the wheel. She sends it into an intersection, catching some air while also flipping a U-turn flawlessly.

But the trooper is on her like a wolf dogging a caribou. However, the suspect is able to get back on the highway, narrowly missing some innocent bystanders, bringing the pursuit speeds to over 100 mph.

Perhaps sensing if the chase doesn’t end, some innocent person would get harmed, the trooper does a flawless PIT maneuver, spinning the Lexus out onto the median.

The big luxury sedan rolls and the driver, who isn’t belted in, goes flying out the window. She survives the ordeal, but has a hospital stay ahead of her before getting arrested and facing the other consequences for running from the law.
