We’ve personally watched Kias driven recklessly by young people, often already damaged in telltale signs of joyriding in a stolen car. This dashcam clip never confirms whether the speeding Kia was boosted, but it would hardly be surprising given the pattern.
The driver took the pursuit off-road in a bid to escape Michigan State Police. Whether stolen or not, the reckless behavior endangered everyone nearby and added to the troubling trend of these vehicles being driven with such disregard.
