Teen Girl Shot Dead In Houston Road Rage

Estimated read time 2 min read

We think most people can agree with us that road rage is a serious problem that only seems to be getting worse in most cities. One of the latest victims of this vicious trend is a 17-year-old driver from a small town in Texas who was shot by another driver as she traveled through Houston. This has to stop.

Road rage seriously injures dog in vicious attack.

The victim, 17-year-old Louise Wilson, swerved to avoid a vehicle which hit its brakes suddenly, her uncle told ABC13. However, that maneuver to avoid an accident ultimately cost her everything.

In the lane where she swerved was another car and that driver felt Wilson cut him off. Instead of just honking his horn or cussing to himself, he pulled up alongside the vehicle Wilson and two others underage kids were riding inside, firing several rounds into it. Then he drove off.

The teens, who were going to Galveston for a short trip, had their lives changed forever. Wilson was killed and a passenger who was hit had to be transported to the hospital. All that over another driver feeling the teenager cut him off.

What is life worth to people these days? We don’t ask that cynically but we have to wonder if road ragers understand or even care about how their actions are putting lives in danger, including their own. For all that guy knew, Wilson and her passengers were armed and would’ve returned fire, killing him instead.

Why are small slights, or even dangerous behavior on the road, justification for seriously injuring or even killing other people? This kind of behavior has to stop. We hope police catch this guy or that his conscience is racked with guilt and he turns himself in. He murdered a teenager over something which ultimately didn’t really matter.
