Five suspects crammed into a C7 Corvette and led police in California’s Bay Area on a chase that exceeded 160 mph. We’ve seen plenty of high-speed Corvette pursuits, but never one where America’s sports car was turned into an overloaded clown car like this.
Packing that many people into a two-seat sports car is as dangerous as it is absurd. The reckless, overloaded run at extreme speed endangered everyone on the road, ending the way most such desperate flights from police do.
