A Walmart employee in Fayetteville, North Carolina woke to find his 1999 Mercedes-Benz S 320 missing. In a bizarre twist, his boss told him the car was parked at his workplace just hours later, the thieves apparently having abandoned it there.
The strange return added an odd wrinkle to an already frustrating theft. Whatever prompted the thieves to leave the car at his job, the bizarre coincidence made for a memorable, if baffling, recovery.
