Like many people, when we see a Nissan 240Z for sale we stop to check it out. This one looks fairly clean and at first glance has some obvious modifications, but there’s a whole lot more going on than you can initially see. We know some will think this sports car is awesome, while the purists might not be amused at all.
Kia is capitalizing on TikTok users’ lack of an attention span.
Still, someone is going to look at this Z and get that feeling it’s the sports car of their dreams. After all, you get the looks of the 240Z but the L28ET turbocharged inline six from the 280ZX for that extra zing.

Speaking of extra, the engine has a Stage 2 Schneider Racing cam, ported head and exhaust manifold, upgraded Bosch fuel injectors, and a Pro TunerZ intake manifold. Plus, there’s a Garrett GTX3076R Gen 1 turbo dialed up to 17 psi and an upgraded ECU with two-step control.
Also bolted up to the L28ET is a CD009 transmission with a high-performance clutch. That fees into an open differential and this car has been converted to CV axles. Plus, the rear factory drum brakes have been swapped to discs.
You’ll note the obvious modifications are the fender flares, which the seller says come from Japan, and the rollbar in the cargo area. The muffler and exhaust finisher are also far from stock, which are attached to a 3-inch custom exhaust system with a Vibrant Performance high-flow resonator. Plus, this Z sits low thanks to some coilovers.

The interior also has extra gauges and NRG racing seats and harnesses. In other words, this car is set up to have some fun, not as a pure 240Z. Like we said, some are going to look at this Nissan and be horrified or lightly disgusted, while others will think this is the ride for them. Where do you land?
