Two Men Arrested After Stolen Lamborghini Tracked to Golden Glades Park & Ride

A Daylight Robbery Sets Off the Search

Two men are in custody in Miami-Dade County after deputies tracked a stolen Lamborghini to a Park & Ride near Golden Glades on Wednesday. According to investigators, the case began when the two suspects approached a woman near Southwest 77th and 40th, took her keys, and drove off in her vehicle.

Deputies Track the Vehicle Across the County

Once a BOLO alert went out, deputies tracked the distinctive vehicle across Miami-Dade until it was located at a Park & Ride off I-95. Both suspects were found still inside the vehicle when deputies arrived.

A Brief Standoff Ends Without Incident

The pursuit that followed was brief, ending with both suspects exiting the vehicle with their hands up. Police helicopter footage captured the arrest as it unfolded.

A Possible Connection to a Separate Broward Case

Around the same time, Fort Lauderdale police and Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to reports of another suspicious vehicle near Southwest 12th and 18th, briefly placing a school near Stranahan High on lockdown as a precaution before lifting it once the situation was resolved. Authorities haven’t confirmed whether the two incidents are connected, though investigators are looking into the timing of both cases.

Investigation Continues

Authorities in both counties continue investigating the robbery and the events that followed. As with any pending case, both suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
